Volunteer Guidelines
Although CDRC-Boston's clients will not be paying for the services of the volunteers, CDRC-Boston expects that thevolunteers will conduct themselves in a thoroughly professional manner. This will include meeting deadlines forsubmitting reports, documents, and materials; being punctual and dressing and acting appropriately at all scheduledmeetings, presentations, and other events relating to the services; keeping CDRC-Boston and the client informedabout the status of the services and deliverables; returning phone calls and keeping up with e-mail and othercommunications; and maintaining the standards of creativity, quality, and responsiveness normally expected byclients of professional service providers. In return, the volunteers will earn the gratitude of the clients, gain valuableprofessional experience, and sharing with CDRC-Boston a feeling of pride in their contribution to the community.
Volunteers are expected to participate fully in providing CDRC-Boston with documentation of the work products andwork process during their project service. CDRC-Boston will have all common law, statutory, and other rights in thereports, drawings, specifications, and other documents and materials prepared by CDRC-Boston volunteers inconnection with their volunteer service, including the the copyright. CDRC-Boston's clients may copy and use suchdocuments and materials for information, reference, and distribution in accordance with the agreements between theclients and CDRC-Boston. The volunteers and their employers may copy, use, and distribute the documents andmaterials for educational. promotional, and other purposes, provided that on each such occasion they giveappropriate credit to the client and CDRC-Boston. |
